Jeremy Niederwerder is the founder and Principal of Switchgrass Construction Advisors, bringing over 25 years of extensive experience in construction management. Jeremy is an innovative, highly analytical, and results-oriented construction consulting advisor and real estate investment professional. With a wealth of experience in commercial construction, Jeremy has worked on projects in various sectors, including sports, healthcare, education, federal/government, mixed-use developments, and multi-family facilities management, overseeing and managing a total of $2.75 billion worth of work across the country. Jeremy excels in maximizing project value, problem-solving, cost control, scheduling, risk management, and ensuring safety, quality, and exceptional customer service. With a strategic focus, a collaborative leadership style, and hands-on experience, he skillfully leads projects from conception to completion. After earning a Construction Engineering degree from Kansas State University, Jeremy dedicated fifteen years to excelling in general contracting, spending ten of those years with Mortenson Construction. During this time, he significantly contributed to the development and construction of pivotal federal, healthcare, governmental, and sports projects. Transitioning into an owner's representative role, Jeremy invested eight years, five of which were with Kansas State Athletics which were pivotal in shaping the organization’s masterplan and facilities trajectory. He provided invaluable insights and comprehensive oversight for all stakeholders involved, playing an essential role in creating the K-State Athletics master plan and bringing to life the facilities that continue to serve the program today.
