Landmark Bank, the Greater Manhattan Community Foundation (GMCF), and the Manhattan Arts Center (MAC) partnered to bring a new public art piece to life, which will be installed in front of Landmark Bank.
MAC facilitated a national call for artists, drawing submissions from across the country. A dedicated selection committee reviewed the entries and ultimately selected Nathan Pierce of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, as the lead artist.
The project was generously funded through a collaborative effort: 75% from GMCF’s Deihl Community Arts Fund and 25% from Landmark Bank. MAC served as the fiscal sponsor and project manager, guiding the process from artist selection through to final installation.
We’re proud of this creative partnership and look forward to working with more local businesses to bring inspiring public art to our community!
