John was born and raised in Kansas City, KS and now lives in Manhattan, KS. He attended Kansas State University and after earning his BS in Business Administration with a major in accounting. John started his career in public accounting and then spent time as Vice President of Finance at Pulte Homes, a national publicly traded home builder before joining Steel and Pipe Supply. He was Vice President and General Manager of Storage and Processors, a subsidiary, before taking the role of Vice President of Operations and since January of 2021 has been Co-President. In his current role John focuses on the development of people across 11 locations in four states and is responsible for setting their strategic direction and leading continuous improvement initiatives. John is married to Dawn and they have three children, Audrey (20), Eli (20) and Zach (16). John enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, K-State and Kansas City sports & time at the lake.
