Ronnie Grice serves as Assistant Vice-President for Public Safety/Chief of Police at Kansas State University since the fall of 1994. His has served in law enforcement for the past 44 years - 30 of those years have been at Kansas State University. Currently he is responsible for the University's full-service police department whose function is to furnish efficient services that protect life, the environment, K-State property and operations. His department currently consists of 27 sworn police officers and 76 civilian staff. Prior to joining the staff at K-State, Ronnie served as Director of Public Safety/Police Chief at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. His law enforcement career began with the Jefferson County Sheriffs department and Arkansas Highway Police. Ronnie and his wife Dr. Cheryl Grice have two adult children John and Courtney.
