Description
Inspire and motivate future workforce by sponsoring a classroom for the 2024-2025 Classroom to Career Program! Classroom to Career is an opportunity for businesses to be paired with an area fourth-grade classroom to share about their business and future career opportunities, enhance learning environments and direct students toward life-enriching professions. Development of our young people is very important, so Classroom to Career is a terrific way to encourage kids to think about diverse and impactful career choices at an early age.
Sponsor a classroom for $400 and receive these amazing benefits:
- Visit your partnering classroom throughout the year to share about opportunities within your industry and business
- A letter will be sent to parents and families of the students’ classroom highlighting the program and your business
- Take students on a field trip to your place of business or choose a different site for an educational tour (your sponsorship covers the cost!)
- Have your business highlighted in a social media campaign to create greater visibility and recognition throughout the region
- Your logo will be featured on a placard on the physical classroom door
- Feature your involvement with the students on your company’s social media platforms (Student/teacher privacy rules will apply)
- Engage a group of incredible students and encourage them in their personal and professional growth
We encourage businesses of all sizes to participate! Businesses can sponsor one class, or pair up with another local business and split the sponsorship fee. If you would like to split the sponsorship fee with another business or organization, email Allison Muth at amuth@manhattan.org to confirm your sponsorship and make payment arrangements. Businesses/organizations will be assigned to classrooms on a first come, first served basis.
Please reach out to Allison Muth, Talent Strategies Manager with the Manhattan Area Chamber at amuth@manhattan.org with any questions or concerns.
